Every person who walks into a tattoo studio brings more than skin — they bring a story.
At TATARTIST, we believe tattoos are more than just ink on the body. They’re moments. Memories. Identity markers. Whether someone’s getting their first piece, reclaiming their body after a life transition, or honoring who they are with every line — we believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and safe in the chair.
Respect Isn’t Optional — It’s Our Foundation
For us, it doesn’t matter your background, gender identity, or who you love. If you’re in the chair, you deserve care — period.
TATARTIST was founded on a simple belief: great art starts with respect. That belief shows up in every piece of furniture we create. Our tattoo chairs, stools, and armrests aren’t just tools — they’re part of the experience. They’re part of making your clients feel relaxed, supported, and worthy of being exactly who they are.
Because when people feel respected in the chair, they show up as their full selves. And that’s when real, meaningful tattoo work happens.
Tattooing Is Identity Work
For so many people, tattooing is a form of personal truth.
Some are telling the world who they are — loud and proud. Some are honoring their culture, their trauma, their healing. Some are quietly celebrating a part of themselves they’ve just come to accept.
Especially in the LGBTQ+ community, tattoos have become powerful symbols of transformation and visibility. From top surgery scars being covered with meaningful designs, to small emblems representing pride, community, and resilience — tattoos are how people reclaim their stories.
We’re honored to know that TATARTIST equipment has been part of so many of those moments. That the chairs we build are used to hold people steady while they permanently mark something that matters.
So, What Is Pride Month — And Why Does It Matter?
Pride Month happens every June to honor the LGBTQ+ community — and it’s more than just rainbow flags.
It began in memory of the Stonewall Uprising in 1969, a pivotal moment when LGBTQ+ individuals stood up against police raids and demanded equal rights. What followed was a global movement: marches, art, visibility, and most importantly — the fight for safety, respect, and the freedom to live authentically.
Today, Pride Month is a celebration of identity, resilience, and self-expression. But it’s also a reminder: there are still people who walk into a tattoo shop hoping to be seen, not judged.
At TATARTIST, we recognize that. We believe the tattoo community can — and should — be part of making people feel more at home in their own skin.
Your Studio Is More Than a Workspace — It’s a Safe Space
We don’t just design furniture — we design for real, emotional moments. For conversations. For connection. For the kind of space where people feel like they can let their guard down, take a breath, and just be themselves.
TATARTIST wants to help artists create studios that feel intentional, inclusive, and comfortable — not just functional.
Because in this industry, your setup says something.
And we want it to say:
“You’re welcome here. You’re safe here. You’re respected here.”
Ink Meets Identity — And We’re Proud to Be a Part of It
Every tattoo is an act of self-expression.
Every appointment is a moment of trust.
Every client is a human being who deserves respect, care, and celebration.
At TATARTIST, we’re proud to support artists and studios that stand for more than just great linework. We stand with those who create spaces of inclusion, empathy, and power — one appointment at a time.
Because when we support identity, we support artistry.
When we design for respect, we design for humanity.
And when we honor everyone’s story —
we’re honoring the beautiful diversity of the world we all share.
TATARTIST believes in respect, in freedom of expression, and in the strength of a diverse society.
And we’re proud to be building the future — one respectful, inclusive studio at a time.
